Dirty Fabulous was created by sisters,
Caroline Quinn and Kathy Sherry who dreamt of showcasing stunning vintage
creations within a beautiful boutique whilst focusing on personal attention to
customers. After travelling the world in search of the finest vintage purveyors,
Dirty Fabulous opened it’s doors in 2008 to resounding success.
In 2010 Dirty Fabulous moved to it’s current location in a Victorian building on the first floor of 21 Wicklow Street.

As our gorgeous collection can range between 20 to 110 years of age it is expected that some pieces may have minor flaws. The history of our clothing will enhance the charm and authenticity of a piece and we will endeavour to point out anything which affects the wear ability or value of an item. Minor flaws will never detract from how stunning a vintage piece looks when worn!
Here are a few more tips on how to care for your vintage garments:
If you desire quality and love developing your own fashion personality then Dirty Fabulous is for you!
Relish the small imperfections and dream that we will all age as beautifully as this collection!
Vintage clothing is readily available in smaller sizes such as 6 to 10’s. We do our very best to have a wide as range of sizing as possible and we have many dresses from sizes 12 to 16. Unfortunately it is very difficult to source original vintage dresses from size 18+. We do have a select range of 1950’s style bridal prom dresses which can be ordered in sizes 6 to 18.
For some guidence it’s worth noting that the earlier the era the commoner smaller sizes were. Most original vintage dresses from the 1920’s to 1940's will be sized 6 to 10. Occasionally we will come across bigger sizes from these eras but they are rare and will be snapped up quickly. Vintage dresses from the 1950's onwards offer more opportunities for a greater range of sizes.
Vintage dresses can of course be altered and changed. Sometimes taking an inch off the length or tailoring it to fit you exactly can make a world of difference. We can show you in store how your dress could be altered to fit you but we do not offer an alterations service. We can recommend a great, reasonably priced local alterations business if needed.
